Style Trends: What's Hot for the Tall Guy

You can't go wrong with the classic long-sleeve dress shirt. Pair it with an open blazer or a sharp looking pullover for a dressed-down dressy look.

Graphic T's, a style staple - even for the tall guy. Worn under a plaid shirt, left open, or with a sharp blazer and dark denim jeans, tall men can pull-off this look with ease.

Checked or Plaid shirts for the tall guy. Go bold - select strong reds, greens, and blues to catch the eye. Wear a checked shirt under a plain knit sweater, with the shirt tail out.

Denim shirts look great on tall men. This trend has been around for a while, but is hitting it big this season. Wear a denim shirt with jeans for the "double denim" look - just vary the color (also known as "wash") for more interest.

Style Tips: Don't Settle For Looking Good - Look Great!

Wear the clothes, don't let them wear you. You're tall, so shop for clothes that are made for tall men. Don't buy average sized clothes in a larger size - the look becomes sloppy.

If you're "short waisted" (your torso appears too short compared to the length of your legs), wear sweaters or sweatshirts that do not have a waist cuff. This will create balance between your torso and legs.

Layer your shirts. A solid color long sleeve tee under a graphic tee is still a big trend.

Long sleeved Polo shirts look great with jeans or a pair of Khakis - especially if the shirt is a solid color. If it's not too long, then it looks fine un-tucked worn with jeans. Polos should always be tucked in if worn with Khakis

Skip the v-necks...they tend to look a bit, well, feminine.
